拉迪亚德•吉卜林，十九世纪末英国诗人，曾旅居美国、南非、加拿大等国家，于1907年获得诺贝尔文学奖。

    《如果》是拉迪亚德•吉卜林写给12岁儿子的励志诗，曾被译成27国语言作为学习的教材。他的诗仿佛在不经意中完成，却产生了巨大反响。里面的很多句子成为各国青年奋斗的座右铭，据传迈克尔•杰克逊的墓志铭就是这首诗。

If you can keep your head when all about you,

如果在众人六神无主之时，

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you，

你能镇定自若而不是人云亦云，

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
